# Understanding your Roxom accounts

> Learn how the Funding Account and Unified Trading Account (UTA) work together on Roxom.

Every Roxom user has **two accounts** that work together: a **Funding Account** for deposits and withdrawals, and a **Unified Trading Account (UTA)** for trading.

These are not account tiers or membership levels. They are functional accounts that serve different purposes.

***

## Funding Account

Your **Funding Account** is where all deposits arrive and all withdrawals are processed. Think of it as your main wallet on Roxom.

* Supports **BTC**, **USDC**, and **USDT**
* All deposits land here, regardless of currency or network
* All withdrawals are sent from here
* [Auto-Earn](/help-center/btc-earn/what-is-btc-earn) applies to BTC held in this account
* Not used for trading or margin calculations

<Info>
  Your Funding Account holds multiple currencies. You can transfer **BTC**, **USDC**, and **USDT** to the UTA. However, USDC and USDT cannot be used directly for trading, you must first sell them for BTC via [One-Click Trade (Swap)](/help-center/one-click-trade/what-is-one-click-trade-what-assets-are-available), then trade with BTC.

## Unified Trading Account (UTA)

Your **UTA** is where all trading happens. It's a single, **BTC-denominated** account used for every product on Roxom.

* Holds **BTC**, **USDC**, and **USDT**
* All trading and margin is **BTC-only**: USDC and USDT must be sold for BTC before you can trade
* Used for opening and managing futures positions
* Used for [One-Click Trade](/help-center/one-click-trade/what-is-one-click-trade-what-assets-are-available) (tokenized assets)
* Every position uses **isolated margin** by default, meaning collateral is ring-fenced per position
* BTC in the UTA does **not** earn Auto-Earn rewards

## How the two accounts work together

```
Deposit (BTC/USDC/USDT)
        ↓
  Funding Account  ←→  Withdrawals
        ↓ ↑
    Transfer (BTC, USDC, USDT, instant, free)
        ↓ ↑
       UTA  →  Sell USDC/USDT for BTC  →  Trading (Futures, One-Click Trade)
```

1. You **deposit** BTC, USDC, or USDT into your Funding Account
2. You **transfer** BTC, USDC, or USDT from your Funding Account to your UTA
3. If you transferred USDC or USDT, **sell them for BTC** using One-Click Trade (Swap), you cannot trade with stablecoins directly
4. You **trade** using BTC in your UTA
5. To withdraw, you **transfer funds back** to your Funding Account and withdraw from there

<Tip>
  Transfers between your Funding Account and UTA are **instant and free**. See [How to transfer funds between accounts](/help-center/account-basics/how-to-transfer-funds-between-accounts) for a step-by-step guide.
</Tip>

## What about VIP levels?

Roxom has a **7-tier VIP fee structure** (Standard to Whale) based on your 30-day trading volume. These are **not account types**: they determine your trading fee rates only.

Every user starts at the Standard tier and automatically moves up as their volume increases. See [Trading fees and VIP levels](/help-center/account-basics/trading-fees-and-vip-levels) for full details.

## Personal vs. business accounts

Roxom supports two account profiles: **personal accounts** (verified through KYC) and **business accounts** (verified through KYB). Both use the same Funding Account and UTA structure described above, and have access to the same products.

When you create an account, you sign up as an individual by default. If you are registering on behalf of a company, click **Sign up as an entity** on the sign-up screen. The rest of the onboarding is the same — the only difference is the verification flow: individuals complete [KYC](/help-center/kyc/how-to-complete-your-account-verification-kyc), while businesses complete [KYB](/help-center/kyc/business-verification), which asks for company details, corporate documents, and information about associated parties.

The main difference between profiles is the daily BTC withdrawal limit:

| Feature                                             | Personal (KYC)          | Business (KYB)           |
| --------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------- | ------------------------ |
| BTC deposits                                        | Unlimited               | Unlimited                |
| BTC withdrawals | Up to **5 BTC per day** | Up to **20 BTC per day** |
| Trading (Futures, One-Click Trade)                  | Available               | Available                |
| [Loans](/help-center/loans/what-is-roxom-loans)     | Available               | Available                |
| [Auto-Earn](/help-center/btc-earn/what-is-btc-earn) | Available               | Available                |

All other features — Futures, One-Click Trade, Loans, Auto-Earn, and dividends on tokenized stocks — work the same way in both profiles.
