# What is the withdrawal limit in Roxom?

> Learn about Roxom's daily withdrawal limits (5 BTC for personal accounts, 20 BTC for business accounts), how USDC and USDT withdrawals are converted to BTC to count against your limit, and how to request an increase.

To help keep accounts secure and comply with applicable regulations, Roxom applies a **daily withdrawal limit** denominated in **BTC** for all supported currencies.

This article explains how the withdrawal limit works, how stablecoin withdrawals count toward it, and how to view your remaining limit.

## Daily withdrawal limit

Roxom applies a daily withdrawal limit to protect user accounts and comply with international regulations. The limit depends on your account type:

| Account type | Daily withdrawal limit |
| :------------------------- | :----------------------- |
| **Personal account** (KYC) | Up to **5 BTC per day** |
| **Business account** (KYB) | Up to **20 BTC per day** |

To learn how the two account types compare, see [Personal vs. business accounts](/help-center/account-basics/understanding-your-roxom-accounts#personal-vs-business-accounts).

<Info>
  The limit is **always denominated in BTC**, regardless of which currency you withdraw. If you withdraw USDC or USDT, the amount is **automatically converted to its BTC equivalent** at the current market price and deducted from your daily limit.
</Info>

This limit applies to **all withdrawals made from your Funding Account to an external wallet**: BTC, USDC, and USDT combined.

The daily limit resets automatically every day at **00:00 UTC**.

## How the conversion works

When you withdraw **USDC** or **USDT**, Roxom converts the withdrawal amount to its **BTC equivalent using the real-time market price of BTC** at the moment of the withdrawal.

<Accordion title="Example: USDT withdrawal with BTC conversion" icon="calculator">
  Suppose BTC is trading at **\$60,000** and you withdraw **1,000 USDT** from a personal account (5 BTC daily limit):

  * **Conversion**: 1,000 ÷ 60,000 = **0.01667 BTC**
  * **Deducted from your daily limit**: 0.01667 BTC
  * **Remaining limit**: 5 - 0.01667 = **4.98333 BTC**

  If you later withdraw **0.5 BTC**, your remaining limit drops to **4.48333 BTC**.
</Accordion>

All withdrawals, regardless of currency, add up against the same daily limit (5 BTC for personal accounts, 20 BTC for business accounts).

## How to read your withdrawal limit

When you open the **Withdraw Crypto** screen, you'll see a panel labeled **Daily Withdrawal Limit** on the right.

<Note>
  The limit panel **always displays values in BTC**, even when you're withdrawing USDC or USDT.
</Note>

This shows:

* Your **remaining limit** for the current day (in BTC)
* Your **total daily limit**
* A progress bar that changes color based on how much you've used

Here's how to interpret the progress bar:

| Color      | Usage    | Status                            |
| :--------- | :------- | :-------------------------------- |
| **Green**  | 100%-67% | Plenty of limit remaining         |
| **Yellow** | 66%-34%  | You've used a significant portion |
| **Red**    | 33%-0%   | Limit nearly or fully used        |

## Can I increase my withdrawal limit?

Yes, you can request a temporary increase, but only if your total balance exceeds your current daily limit.

* If you have a **personal account** and hold **5 BTC or more** (or equivalent in other currencies), you'll be able to request a temporary increase.

### How the request process works

If a temporary increase option is available to you, you'll see it when attempting to withdraw.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a request">
    You'll be guided to chat with **Roxy**, our AI assistant.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm and provide documentation">
    Roxy may ask you to confirm your request and provide supporting information (for example, proof of funds).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review by Roxom team">
    A support ticket will be created and reviewed by the Roxom team.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If your balance is **below the daily withdrawal limit**, the option to request an increase will not be available.

## Common questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does the withdrawal limit apply to internal transfers?">
    It depends on the type of transfer:

    * **Transfers to another Roxom user**: Yes, these count as withdrawals and are subject to the daily withdrawal limit.
    * **Transfers between your Funding Account and Unified Trading Account (UTA)**: No, these are internal account movements and do not count toward your withdrawal limit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is the limit per currency or combined?">
    The limit is **combined across all currencies**. All withdrawals, BTC, USDC, and USDT, count toward your single daily limit (5 BTC for personal accounts, 20 BTC for business accounts). Stablecoin withdrawals are converted to their BTC equivalent at the current market price.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What exchange rate is used for the conversion?">
    The **real-time market price of BTC** at the moment of the withdrawal is used to convert USDC/USDT amounts to BTC.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does the BTC price at the time of withdrawal lock my limit?">
    Yes. The conversion is calculated at the **exact moment the withdrawal is processed**. Price fluctuations after that point do not affect your remaining limit.
