# Referral Program: how it works

> Start here: how referrals are linked to you on Roxom, what qualifies for rewards, and how the overall flow works.

Roxom’s Referral Program lets you invite new users and earn **BTC rewards** when your referred users trade on Roxom.

Here’s the full flow, from sharing your link to earning rewards.

## How to access the Referral Program

From the header, open the **More** menu and select **Referral Program** under **Earn**.

You can also go directly to [roxom.com/referral](https://roxom.com/referral).

## Step-by-step flow

  <Step title="Share your referral link or code" stepNumber={1}>
    You can invite users using either:

    * Your **Referral Link**, or
    * Your **Referral Code**

    Both methods can link new users to you when they sign up.

  <Step title="Your referral signs up using your link/code" stepNumber={2}>
    A user becomes your referral when they sign up through your referral link or enter your referral code during signup.

    <Warning>
      If a user signs up without your referral link/code, the referral may not be attributed to you.
    </Warning>

  <Step title="Your referral completes KYC" stepNumber={3}>
    KYC is required to trade on Roxom. Referral rewards only apply once the referred user completes KYC and becomes eligible to trade.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Your referral trades Futures" stepNumber={4}>
    Referral rewards are generated from **Futures trading only**.

    <Note>
      One Click Trade (Spot trading) currently has **no fees**, so Spot activity does not generate referral rewards.
    </Note>

  <Step title="Roxom charges trading fees" stepNumber={5}>
    When your referred users trade Futures, Roxom charges trading fees on those transactions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You earn BTC rewards from those fees" stepNumber={6}>
    Once your referrals generate trading fees, you start earning referral rewards.
