# Referral rewards and payouts

> Understand how referral rewards are calculated on Roxom, what the default rate is, and when/where BTC payouts are delivered.

This article explains how Roxom referral rewards are calculated and how payouts work.

## How referral rewards are calculated

Roxom’s Referral Program is **revenue-share based**:

* You earn a **default 10% share** of the **trading fees** generated by your referred users.
* Rewards are generated from **Futures trading only**.

<Note>
  One Click Trade (Spot) currently has **no fees**, so Spot activity does not generate referral rewards.
</Note>

### Example (10% default)

If your referred users generate **0.01 BTC** in Futures trading fees in a day, you earn **0.001 BTC** in referral rewards.

## What you do *not* get paid for

Roxom does **not** offer CPA-style rewards.

You do **not** earn rewards for:

* Signups
* KYC completion
* Deposits

  Referral rewards are based entirely on **trading fees generated by Futures trading activity**.

## When payouts happen

Referral rewards are paid:

* **Daily**
* In **Bitcoin (BTC)**
* At **04:00 UTC**

## Where payouts are credited

Referral payouts are credited automatically to your **Funding Account**.

  Your **Funding Account** is your default Roxom wallet where deposits, withdrawals, and credits such as referral payouts are processed.
</Note>

## Do referral commissions expire?

No. Referral commissions are ongoing and earned as long as your referred users continue trading on Roxom, subject to the Terms & Conditions.
