Interest rate
- The current rate is 7.25% APR.
- Interest is simple and accrues daily on the original borrowed amount (principal only) at a rate of
0.0725 / 365 ≈ 0.0199% per day. Accrued interest is not added to the calculation base, so the daily charge stays constant for the life of the loan.
- The first accrual runs exactly 24 hours after loan creation (not at midnight UTC). This means if you open and fully repay a loan within the same 24-hour window, no interest is charged.
For loans closed before 12 months, the actual cost is proportionally lower.
Variable APR policy
The APR is variable and Roxom may adjust it at any time. When the rate changes:
- The new rate applies to future interest accruals only: interest that has already accrued on your active loan is not re-priced retroactively.
- All accruals from the change forward are calculated at the new rate, including on existing active loans.
- The current APR is always visible in the Loans section and in the Open Credit Line / Borrow More modals (
7.25% APR · variable).
If you want to lock in the cost at the current rate, repay the loan in full. Otherwise, future accruals will follow the published rate at the time each daily accrual runs.
Term
The loan is Open Ended. There is no maturity date.
- Keep the loan open as long as you want, provided your LTV stays within thresholds.
- Repay partially or in full at any time.
- There is no prepayment penalty.
For LTV thresholds and what happens if BTC drops, see LTV, margin calls, and liquidation.
How much can I borrow?
| Parameter | Value |
|---|
| LTV at origination | Between 1% and 50% of the USD value of your BTC |
| Minimum loan | USDT 200 |
| Minimum additional borrow (Borrow More) | USDT 200 |
| Default credit limit | USDT 100,000 per user |
The amount you can borrow is constrained by two independent caps:
- 50% LTV at origination: how much you can borrow against a given BTC collateral, regardless of credit limit.
- Credit limit: an account-level cap on total outstanding USDT debt, currently USDT 100,000 by default for whitelisted users.
Credit limit vs. loan amount
The credit limit is an account-level ceiling on your outstanding USDT debt across the lifetime of your credit line. It is shown in the Open Credit Line and Borrow More modals as used / total (for example, 1,000 / 100,000 USDT). It is not a per-loan limit.
If you need a higher cap, click Increase → next to the credit limit in either modal. This opens a credit limit increase request that contacts the Roxom support team. Increases are subject to available liquidity and internal review, they are not granted automatically.
One active loan at a time
Only one BLOC (Bitcoin Line of Credit) per user can be open at any moment. To open a new loan, the previous one must be fully repaid and closed.
Currency
Funds are initially disbursed in USDT.
Fees
- Origination fee: none.
- Prepayment penalty: none.
- Liquidation fee: 2% of the BTC effectively liquidated, deducted from the liquidation proceeds before they are applied to interest and principal. It is not charged on your total debt. See LTV, margin calls, and liquidation.
