This article is the canonical reference for how Auto-Earn works on Roxom. It defines the core rules that apply across all Auto-Earn documentation.

What is Auto-Earn?

Auto-Earn is an optional setting that enables automatic BTC earning on your account. When Auto-Earn is enabled, Roxom automatically calculates and credits BTC earnings based on the BTC you hold consistently in your Funding Account, following predefined accrual rules.
Auto-Earn is disabled by default. You must explicitly turn it on to start earning BTC.

Core rules (summary)

When Auto-Earn is enabled:
  • Earnings are calculated over full 24-hour accrual windows
  • Only BTC held in the Funding Account is considered
  • Calculations always use the lowest BTC balance held during the day
  • BTC is never locked and can be withdrawn at any time
  • Rates are variable and not guaranteed
All other Auto-Earn articles expand on these same rules.

How to enable Auto-Earn

To enable Auto-Earn:
  1. Go to your Funding Account
  2. Locate the Auto-Earn section
  3. Turn on the Auto-Earn toggle
  4. Review the key rules and terms
  5. Confirm activation
Once enabled, no further action is required.

When do earnings start?

Earnings do not start immediately. Auto-Earn follows a defined timeline:
1

Activation

Auto-Earn is enabled on your account.
2

Accrual phase

Your available BTC balance in the Funding Account begins counting toward the next full accrual window.
3

First credit

Earnings are credited after a full 24-hour accrual window is completed.
If Auto-Earn is enabled partway through a day, that day does not count as a full accrual window.

Daily accrual windows

Auto-Earn uses fixed 24-hour accrual windows.
  • Each window runs from 00:00 UTC to 00:00 UTC
  • Earnings are calculated after the window closes
  • Credits are typically posted shortly after the cutoff
Partial days do not generate earnings.

How balances are evaluated

For each accrual window:
  • Roxom tracks your BTC balance in the Funding Account throughout the day
  • Earnings are calculated using the lowest BTC balance you held during that window
  • The lowest balance becomes the reference for the entire day
Auto-Earn does not use:
  • Average balances
  • Ending balances
  • Temporary intraday balances

Balance changes during the day

Your BTC balance can change at any time, but earnings adjust accordingly. Examples:
  • Deposit BTC and withdraw it on the same day
→ Minimum balance is 0 BTC → earnings for that day are 0
  • Hold BTC for the full day
→ Earnings are calculated on that balance
  • Withdraw or transfer BTC out during the day
→ Earnings are calculated on the remaining BTC balance
This design rewards consistent holding, not frequent balance movement.

Turning Auto-Earn on or off

You can turn Auto-Earn on or off at any time.
  • Turning Auto-Earn on enables future accruals
  • Turning Auto-Earn off stops future accruals
  • BTC already earned and credited is never affected
If you disable Auto-Earn before 00:00 UTC, earnings for the current accrual window will be forfeited.
You can re-enable Auto-Earn at any time to resume future earnings.

Withdrawals while Auto-Earn is active

You can withdraw or use your BTC at any time.
  • BTC is never locked
  • Withdrawals may reduce or eliminate earnings for the current accrual window
  • Withdrawals do not affect BTC already earned and credited

Temporary unavailability or pauses

Auto-Earn availability and rates may change over time. Roxom may temporarily pause Auto-Earn or adjust conditions to manage:
  • Liquidity
  • Market conditions
  • Operational risk
Any changes apply prospectively and do not affect BTC already credited.
