TL;DR

If you have a bitcoin-backed loan with another lender, you can move it to a BLOC (Bitcoin Line of Credit) at 7.25% APR (fixed). Roxom pays off your current lender directly, your BTC collateral moves into Roxom custody, and your new credit line goes live. Your first month of interest is waived if the refinanced loan is still active twelve months after origination. You don’t sell any BTC, and you don’t need cash on hand to make the switch. Start at roxom.com/refi, the official campaign page. The full rules are in the BLOC ReFi Campaign Terms & Conditions.

Quick facts

Why refinance

Many bitcoin-backed loans cost 10% to 18% a year once fees are included. At 7.25%, the difference adds up fast. For example, a USD 250,000 loan at 12% APR costs USD 30,000 a year in interest. At 7.25% APR, the same loan costs USD 18,125 a year. That’s USD 11,875 in annual savings, before the first-month interest waiver. Savings estimates given through the hotline, the savings calculator, or any Campaign material are general and illustrative. They do not include fees charged by your current lender, network fees, or taxes.

How it works

There are three ways to refinance depending on what you have available. The hotline team reviews your case and tells you which one fits your situation.
Use this if: all your BTC is locked as collateral at your current lender and you don’t have cash to repay the loan up front. This works like a mortgage refinance. Roxom pays off your current lender directly, and the collateral released by that lender lands in your Roxom funding account.

Message +1 (682) 271-7956 on WhatsApp. The team walks you through the switch in English or Spanish and opens your BLOC at a 90% LTV.
2

Request a payoff quote from your current lender

The payoff quote is the exact amount required to close your existing loan on a given date.
3

Sign the Roxom loan agreement and payoff authorization

You accept the BLOC Terms & Conditions and the BLOC ReFi Campaign Terms & Conditions, and authorize Roxom to send the payoff to your current lender.
4

Roxom sends the payoff directly to your current lender

Funds never pass through a third party, including you.
5

Set your Roxom custody address as the collateral withdrawal address at your current lender

Once your current lender releases the BTC, it lands in your Roxom funding account.
6

Your BLOC is active

The credit line is active as of the date Roxom sends the payoff. The first-month interest waiver starts from that date. See Benefit: first month of interest waived below for the exact rules.

Who can refinance

To participate, you must:
  • Hold an active Roxom account with completed KYC or KYB.
  • Be the borrower of record of the existing loan, under the same name as your Roxom account.
  • Have an existing loan collateralized with BTC, outstanding and in good standing with the other lender.
  • Meet the requirements of the BLOC Terms & Conditions.
You must also provide evidence of the existing loan, such as a recent statement or a payoff quote from the other lender showing the outstanding balance, the collateral, and the applicable rate. Roxom may request additional information at any time.
The Campaign applies to one existing loan per user, and only to your first refinanced loan on Roxom. Any subsequent refinancing, credit limit increase, or additional credit line is governed exclusively by the BLOC Terms & Conditions, without Campaign benefits.
The refinance Campaign is not available to residents of, or users accessing from, the United States, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, China, Russia, or any other jurisdiction restricted under Roxom’s General Terms and Conditions.

What you’ll need

  • A verified Roxom account.
  • An up-to-date payoff quote from your current lender.
  • Access to your current lender’s account to update your collateral withdrawal address to your Roxom custody address.

Benefit: first month of interest waived

The refinanced loan accrues interest from origination like any other BLOC. If the refinanced loan is still active twelve (12) months after origination, Roxom rebates 100% of the interest accrued during the first thirty (30) days of the refinanced loan.
  • The rebate is calculated on the principal outstanding on the seventh (7th) day after origination. Any increase in principal after that day is excluded.
  • The rebate is credited to your Roxom account in the same stablecoin as the refinanced loan (USDT or USDC).
  • The loan is considered active as long as it hasn’t been fully repaid, fully liquidated, or terminated. Partial repayments and partial liquidations don’t affect this condition.
  • If the loan ceases to be active before the 12-month mark, for any reason, the rebate is not credited.

Rate

The refinanced loan bears the rate in force under the BLOC Product Annex at origination, currently 7.25% APR. The rate is fixed: it does not fluctuate day to day with market conditions, so you always know what you are paying. Fixed does not mean fixed forever — the APR references SOFR (Secured Overnight Financing Rate), and Roxom may adjust it going forward with prior notice. When the rate changes, the new rate applies to future accruals only. Interest already accrued on your active loan is never re-priced retroactively. See the Variable APR policy for details.

Human margin call

If your refinanced loan reaches the margin call threshold, Roxom may attempt to contact you by phone as an additional courtesy on top of the standard margin call email. This is a best-effort service and not an obligation. You remain solely responsible for monitoring your LTV and keeping your contact details up to date. A call, message, or conversation does not modify the margin call or liquidation thresholds, does not extend the cure window, and does not delay a liquidation. See LTV, margin calls, and liquidation for the full mechanics.

After the switch

Once refinanced, your loan works like any other BLOC. Your BTC is frozen in your funding account and held in segregated custody. It’s never lent out or commingled. There is no fixed term and no prepayment penalty, so you can repay whenever you want.

FAQ

Roxom doesn’t charge any fees to refinance. Your current lender may charge closing or early repayment fees, and a network fee applies when your BTC is withdrawn. Review your existing loan terms before you start.
Roxom waives 100% of the interest accrued during the first 30 days of the refinanced loan, calculated on the principal outstanding on the 7th day after origination. The rebate is credited to your Roxom account in the same stablecoin as the refinanced loan, once the loan reaches 12 months active. If the loan ceases to be active before that, the rebate is not credited.
Your payoff quote is fixed by your current lender for a limited time. Your LTV at Roxom is calculated when your BLOC activates. The hotline team monitors the process until your collateral lands in your Roxom funding account.
You don’t sell any BTC when you refinance. A loan is generally not a disposition of the asset in most jurisdictions, but tax treatment depends on where you live. Check with a tax advisor.
No. The Campaign is not available to residents of, or users accessing from, the United States, and other restricted jurisdictions listed in the BLOC ReFi Campaign Terms & Conditions.
The minimum is 200 USDT or 200 USDC, the same as any BLOC. There is no preset maximum for refinancing: the hotline team sizes each ticket case by case based on your existing loan and collateral.
Visit roxom.com/refi or message the refinance hotline on WhatsApp at +1 (682) 271-7956. The team responds in English and Spanish.
